Aleksandar Šarac (35), who was seriously injured in the parking lot of the “Ušće” shopping center on October 17, passed away after 10 days of doctors fighting to save him. He was injured in the underground garage of the “Ušće” shopping center when Lazar I. (23) from Kraljevo approached him from behind and shot him twice in the head with a silencer pistol. Lazaro I is now threatened with life imprisonment.
The suspect in the shooting was identified on the basis of security camera footage, but also a biological trace found on the weapon that fell from the crime scene during its escape.
It is not yet known where he is at this time and where he fled after the shooting. The police spoke with his relatives and acquaintances, but all said they did not know where Lazar was, who after Šarc’s death is no longer charged with attempted aggravated murder, but with aggravated murder, for which he faces life imprisonment.
By the way, the alleged perpetrator has been known to the police for a long time, and in his 23 years he managed to commit more than 100 criminal acts. The suspect’s thick file includes robbery, aggravated robbery, illegal possession of weapons, inflicting minor bodily injury and, for the most part, he broke into traffic and stole vehicles.
The murdered Šarac is also known for criminal acts, and before this shooting two murders were carried out against him. The previous two times, due to a combination of happy circumstances, he saved his head. It was written about him in more detail for the first time in August 2018, when a bomb was dropped at the home of former basketball player Vukašin – Vule Avdalović. Sharac and Avdalovic were the first neighbors, so investigators did not rule out the possibility that the attacker hit the house. Five months later, when Chaba Der killed Nebojsa Markovic in Banovo brdo, it was believed that Sarac repeated the first target.
On January 5, 2019, there was an attack on Banovo brdo, and then Nebojsa Markovic, Sarce’s son-in-law, was mistakenly killed.
That day, Aleksandar was supposed to go to training, as he usually does at the time, but the assassin replaced him with Nebojsa.
Although Chaba Der was arrested, it has not yet been clarified if Sharac was the real target. Čaba recently denied from prison articles in some media that he was paid 8,000 euros for the murder in Belgrade, but noted that he defended himself “because members of the criminal group wanted to kill him, that his life was in danger and it was there. To ruin his plan to not to come to Hungary and kill him. “
Italian investigators were also looking for Šarc for the theft of the “Eleutheri” jewelry store in Milan on September 21, 2016, from which he took loot worth more than one million euros. He was arrested in Serbia in 2011 as a member of a gang whose loot was 250,000 euros.
Murder and disappearance of connected fans?
“Blic” previously wrote that Šarac was on good terms with Lazar Vukićević, who lost track ten days ago in Banovo brdo.
It has not yet been determined whether Šarc’s assassination attempt and Vukićević’s disappearance are related, and the same criminal team is behind them, but it is being investigated.
