According to the report of the Center for Social Work, the Vlasotince police found two minors from abroad whose stay was not reported. The children were placed in a foster family, while a misdemeanor report was filed against the 51-year-old woman, in whose home the children were found, writes Južne vesti.

The president of the “Tijana Jurić” Foundation, which is concerned with improving the safety of children, Igor Jurić, announced on Facebook that the children were hiding in the house for several months and asked the authorities for answers.

Police do not indicate which country the children are from and how they got to Vlasotince, and Jurić claims they are from Rijeka.

According to the police, after the report, everything that was within their competence was done.

The children were placed in a foster family, while police officers temporarily confiscated the children’s travel documents and the certified consent of the parents with whom they entered the Republic of Serbia with the aforementioned woman. – they say in the police.

Likewise, a misdemeanor complaint was filed against the 51-year-old woman in accordance with the Immigration Law, according to which every person with foreign citizenship is obliged to report it to the police, which she did not do.

The police sent all the files to the Leskovac High Prosecutor’s Office for further decisions.
