Two Albanians lowered the Serbian flag near Leposavic and one of them trampled it on the road.
Florim Morina and Nuhi Bašota recorded the trampling of the flag and sent the recording to the Albanian media in Kosovo and Metohija. Morina also posted the video on her Facebook profile, where it was noted that everything happened yesterday at 12:30 pm
Morina stated in the video that the removal and trampling of the Serbian flag was a “response” to the fact that on October 10, a priest from the vicinity of Belgrade removed the Albanian flag from the Kosara watchtower.
The Albanian flag appears to have been there since 1999, when Serbian forces withdrew from Kosovo and Metohija after the FRY bombing and the Kumanovo Agreement.
– I went to Leposavic and lowered the flag of the Serbian Chetniks. The Serbian flag does not exist in Albanian countries and will never exist, says Morina.
