With these words, after the horrible traffic accident in Nis in which Srba Živković (20) from the village of Gornja Vrežina died, his father Miloš speaks on behalf of “Blic”. In the house of the young man who died the morning after the tragedy, sadness and disbelief that he no longer exists.

The injured Serb’s father, Milos, says his son and a villager were in the company of some girls that night and that they probably went to take them home when the accident occurred.

– He was with his neighbor SB, with whom he has been inseparable for a year. There were some friends with them and they probably went to take them home. I got up at 6:00 for work this morning and heard that an accident had occurred. The policeman says that the driver was driving at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour – says Miloš, devastated by pain.

He says that after finishing school, he began to introduce the Serbs to the business of digging wells, because he has a company that deals with that business and they started working together.

– I barely kept it, when I divorced my wife I was only two years old. I called my daughter who lives in Sweden and we hope they will arrive. He has been dating his neighbor SB intensely for the last year, they were inseparable friends, he is a little older than him. So I joked when he went to meet him, I asked him: “Are you going to Daddy’s house?” – says unhappy Miloš.

After the tragedy, he says, he was contacted by a BMW driver, SB

– Sends messages from the hospital regretting what happened. They say that while driving my son was recording while driving and the recording was saved on the phone. I don’t know if that’s true – says Milos.

Villagers and relatives come to Zivkovic’s house to express their condolences because the tragic news of the young man’s death affected everything. The locals say that the SB driver has always driven fast.

– SB gets in the car and immediately accelerates towards the dash, flying at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in one second. He liked driving fast, braking and turning sharply, and performing a tire-ignition maneuver. It has always been like this – says one of the locals.

As a reminder, the tragedy occurred on the night of Saturday to Sunday on Nikola Tesla Boulevard in Nis. According to eyewitnesses, the BMW ran off the road at high speed after the roundabout, first hitting the planter, which was “carrying” for about 20 meters, and crashing into the “Niš auta” building.

The horrible noise, breaking and breaking of the glass was heard by “Niš auta” worker Slaviša Savić, who immediately came out in front of the building and found a terrifying scene.

– I looked at the street, the car was turned there, I assumed it flew here from the roundabout. I got to the car, the guy driving out, and the passenger was obviously dead. I wanted to get it out but couldn’t, the car was pretty wrinkled. We called the ambulance and waited – Slaviša Savić told “Blic”.

As he told us, the car was completely destroyed, the engine entered the vehicle near the passenger seat where the Serbian Zivkovic was sitting.

– I felt his pulse and he didn’t have it at all, it was immediately known what it was … We had to call the ambulance. The driver wanted to get him out of the car, but could not, he was pressed with metal … It was terrible, terrible – says an eyewitness.
