They robbed the home of hardened Belgian criminal Eric Lamers near Kragujevac.
Kragujevac police arrested him on October 7 and now his Serbian home in the village of Veliko Krcmare is devastated.
Eric Lamers, also known as the Beast, has been convicted in Belgium of a series of brutal crimes including murder, rape and pedophilia. For years, he hid in a quiet town near Kragujevac and the local police arrested him.
The house he lived in in the village of Veliko Krčmare was ransacked, as was the workshop located in the courtyard.
Trajko Vasiljevic was Lamers’ worker, and now he visits the house almost every day and feeds the pets.
“I arrived on Monday morning and saw that the door was broken. Tools, a grinder and cat and dog food were stolen from the shop, and a television, a lawn mower and an air stapler were stolen from the house,” Trajko said.
He says he was immediately clear that someone wanted to harm Lamers, and he called the police, who conducted an investigation, and the perpetrators are still being wanted. Whoever did that left a huge mess that is more than noticeable from the door. This weekend house is owned by Eric Lamers, who, as the neighbors say, he bought for 100,000 euros.
It also has a workshop and beehives in the courtyard. A cruel criminal in Serbia was involved in a completely legal business, that is, the production of honey. Trajko has been working with him in beekeeping for years and claims that Lamers is a good employer, who has always paid well and regularly.
“It is a shame for Serbia that their house was robbed and that a Belgian was destroyed like this. He praised our people a lot, he spoke of how good we are and that we are not savages,” recalls our interlocutor.
Eric Lamers was arrested on October 7 with a warrant from Interpol. He remains in prison in Petrovac and hopes to be extradited to Belgium. As we learn, due to the anger of the other prisoners, he was transferred to solitary confinement, and from there, in the prison circle, he moved under greater surveillance.
Trajko tells Kurir that he received a letter from Lamers from prison in which Eric says that he plays table tennis every day and that he is satisfied with the food.
Let us remind you that you are one of the cruelest modern criminals in Belgium. He was sentenced to life in prison for double murder in 1991, but was released on parole after 11 years. He was supposed to be sent back to prison for helping a friend dispose of the body of the man killed in 2007, but then he escaped to Serbia. That same year, in Belgium it was suspected that he had raped a minor. He was deported from Serbia for the first time in 2008, but was released in Belgium a few days later.

Stolen wardrobe and woman’s
In addition to technical tools and devices, the women’s wardrobe was stolen from Lamers’ home. As we know from Eric’s employee, those things belong to a woman of Moroccan origin who occasionally came to Serbia with Lamers.
“Now he sends money and takes care of Lamers business, accounts and property from Belgium. As for the business here, his friend now buys food for bees,” said Trajko Vasiljevic.
According to him, Lamers’ friend is in charge of the second part of the production, which is located in the village of Badnjevac, and will take over the work at Veliki Krčmar now that Erik is in prison.
