At the pre-election rally in Middletown, Pennsylvania, US President Donald Trump also referred to the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina, evaluating that agreement as his own and as the success of the United States.
Trump said the agreement saved many lives and claimed that it is the reason he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
As he said in his speech to voters, which was posted on YouTube, it is about the contribution to reach an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina and between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
“They have been killing each other for many years, they are just killing each other, they disagree,” Trump said.
He added that this was a disagreement like the disagreement between the Palestinians and Israel, noting that Belgrade and Pristina differ in many ways, including religion.
– We negotiate on both sides, so we have certain powers. I told you, listen, let’s reach an agreement, let’s reach an economic truce and a general truce – said Trump in Pennsylvania and shared with voters his impression of the reaction in his office after the signing of the agreement between the representatives of Pristina and Belgrade.
– They hugged, it was a wonderful thing to see, we saved many lives – said Trump.
