A two-year-old, Aleksa Radojicic from Uzice, underwent surgery for a brain tumor in early December at the Belgrade Neurology Clinic. Fortunately, the operation went well and the boy continued his cancer treatment with radiation therapy.
His parents, Verica and Veljko Radojicic, are currently unemployed and in desperate need of financial help. In addition, they are tenants and have a baby of several months. That is why they asked for help publicly, through social groups, and the photos of little Aleksa were abused by the VJ, falsely presenting herself to the media as her mother who desperately needs money, according to Telegraf.rs.
That is, he declared data identical to those of the parents of the real child, except that instead of the correct current account of the Radojicic family, he gave his own, which is in the Postal Savings Bank. Little Aleksa’s alleged father also went to the newsroom, asking for help and dictating a different bank account. By the way, since yesterday he has not answered the phone, he turns it on from time to time, but turns it off again.
The boy’s parents say it was a case of fraud and that they reported the case to the police.
– A few days ago a current account that is not ours appeared in the media. The correct and only account to help Alex is 160-5300101894128-78 at Intesa bank. Uzice is a small town, people soon saw that the bank account that was published somewhere, on various portals, is not ours, says Aleksa’s mother.
He adds that most of the money most likely went to the correct account because he reacted quickly.
According to the boy’s father, Veljko, a few hours after the announcement of someone else’s account, they saw that it was someone else’s fraud.
– I reported the case to the police. What can I tell you? My wife and I were shocked when we saw her. Someone is using someone else’s sick girl … He even wrote somewhere that he has a daughter as old as ours, he saw that in our post he only put the girl’s name, Lena, because he did not know the real name of the girl. Our daughter’s name is Marina – explains Veljko.

Aleksa’s father experienced very emotionally that someone wanted to earn money from his son’s illness.
– It is even more difficult because my wife and I are unemployed … I have no words. Alexa has a dozen more therapies and the money is earmarked for that … Her health is changing. Sometimes he is nervous, he is nauseous … Now he is in a quiet period. It was especially difficult for us because my wife was pregnant when we found out. In that first moment we found out … They cut off my legs when I saw him in the hospital. I couldn’t eat anything for eight days – Veljko said with a trembling voice.
