In two separate accidents, two people died today in the Toplica district, in just over an hour. They were both on tractors.
First, a man (72) was killed in the village of Štava in Kuršumlija. The man was driving a tractor with a trailer attached to which was loaded with firewood, writes “Pink.”
The tractor driver lost control of the vehicle and landed off the road. He was taken to the Kursumlija Health Center with serious injuries, where he died.
Another tractor driver was killed on Blace on a mountain road. He was pulling a log.
Details of the accidents are not yet known, so an investigation is under way.
In the last few days there have been significantly more traffic accidents in the four municipalities of the Toplica district: Prokuplje, Kursumlija, Blace and Zitoradja, so that during the last days they occurred at least three times a day, and people suffered serious injuries bodily. Today, sadly, two deaths have been reported.
