BELGRADE – Former soccer international Dusan B. (49) was beaten in Pancevo and the police quickly arrested the suspects.
Two young men beat Dušan with a pistol and a bar. The man was taken to Pančevo Hospital, where serious injuries were noted.
Pancevo police reacted quickly and, after a short operational work, those suspected of causing serious injuries were arrested. It is Lazar S. and Nemanja P. who have criminal records. The motive for the attack is being determined. The investigation continues.
Dušan B. is a former goalkeeper who played for Dinamo of Pancevo, Hajduk of Belgrade.
He was a member of the Belgian team Sint Truden for 10 years, and at the end of his active career he performed for the White Eagles of Canada. He was the goalkeeper of the Yugoslavia futsal national team. Last year he was appointed director of FC Dinamo de Pancevo
