The crisis headquarters also flagged Novi Pazar as one of the possible hot spots of the corona virus, and the secretary of state in the Ministry of Health, Mirsad Đerlek, says he is concerned about the increase in patients who go to the ambulance for the first time. time.

Furthermore, Đerlek claims that this is even more concerning because a large number of Pazar citizens are still on vacation in Montenegro, so an increase in the number of patients is expected upon their return.

According to him, on September 4, in Novi Pazar, there were 36 first examinations of patients at the Kovid clinic, and on September 11, 50 of those patients.

“It is not a big increase, but it is certainly worrying because a lot of people from Pazar, Tutin, are on vacation in Montenegro, and we expect that number to increase,” said Djerlek.

When it comes to Tutin, according to the secretary of state, on September 4, there were only three patients at the Kovid clinic at the first examination, and already on September 8, 15 patients.

“These are data that warn us that there is no relaxation. This increase in the first examinations in kovid dispensaries that we have noticed in the last days can be worrying, ”emphasizes Djerlek.

As he says, for now, there is no increase in hospitalized covid patients, and currently five positive patients are housed at Novi Pazar hospital.

During the weekend, they had a transport to the Kragujevac Clinical Center, a patient with much comfort, who in addition to covidity, also had leukemia.

Also, over the weekend, there were two hospital discharges, Đerlek says, adding that the hospital is rated for non-covid patients, but that at this time they are also preparing for the worst-case scenario that could occur in the fall and winter. .

“We are very careful and follow the evolution of covids on a daily basis,” says Djerlek, calling once again on citizens to adhere to the crisis staff’s recommendations and preventive measures, which are the only means to fight the corona virus.
