The Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar, will insist that the celebration stop.

– A week ago, there were just over 270 covid patients in hospitals, and today 359 – Lončar recalled. – It is the result of parties, celebrations and weddings. We noticed that the local crisis headquarters began to give “special permits” to organize celebrations. We will insist that those permissions not be granted. You cannot have meetings with more than 30 people. It’s about time we got serious. I appeal to citizens who are invited to weddings, birthdays, parties where there will be 200, 300, 400 people to say that they do not want to take risks and not go.

The minister said that the hospital day of treatment for kovid costs more than 1,000 euros, and came the hiring of medical workers, who he said were heroes.

– Is it possible that we do not take them into account? Or people who are not infected with the corona virus and who were unable to reach hospitals for treatment, as all hospitals became covid hospitals at some point? We cannot allow that to happen again, Loncar is explicit.

He warned that more coronary infections are expected, the appearance of more serious clinical pictures, as well as an increase in the number of those infected by other respiratory infections. All this is the reason for the introduction of the obligation to wear masks outdoors, which was announced on Thursday by immunologist Sr pora Janković, a member of the crisis staff.

“It will soon be a must in the open space when it comes to contacts,” Janković said. – The mask and physical distance are the backbone of infection and disease prevention and kovid death prevention.

Jankovic says that the measures that are in place now can be implemented more rigorously than before, so no further measures will be necessary.
