Tonight, the president of the Kosovo Provisional Institutions, Hashim Thaci, reiterated Pristina’s position that the Union of Serbian Municipalities (ASM), which, according to him, Serbia is trying to return to the negotiating table, is not a technical issue and that there will be no changes to the Constitution.

Thaci, who met with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, two days ago, reiterated that the Kosovo Constitutional Court had issued its opinion and would not take further action on it.

“The community is not a technical issue at all, we have the opinion of the Constitutional Court, we have an obligation to apply it. Kosovo has no obligation to take further measures, any movement from that framework means Republika Srpska, it is entering the process of attacking to Kosovo from within, especially when “Serbia is not ready to recognize Kosovo, with this community,” Thaci said according to Gazeta Express.

After today’s meeting with Lajcak, Serbian President Aleksandra Vucic noted that Serbia will adhere to the agreed implementation plan, which will insist on compliance with the Brussels Agreement, that is, on the formation of the Union of Serbian Municipalities, but not as a non-governmental organization. Constitution of Kosovo.

Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac will join Kosovo

While saying that the JCC cannot go beyond the existing constitutional framework, Thaci is simultaneously “climbing the ladder” and repeating the idea of annexing Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, the so-called Kosovo.

“Of course, I remain in favor of the annexation of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac to Kosovo. This is my conviction and it is unshakable, without violating the territorial integrity of Kosovo. Thaci is for TV Dukagjini.

Thaci says that dialogue has no alternative, but that the process cannot be endless.

“Recognition must be achieved first, and then other processes can be easily solved,” Thaci said, reports Kosovo Online.

He believes that the role of the United States in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina is of key importance, but also that the EU should be in close coordination with the United States.

“Knives on maps have never been and never will be, neither for the EU nor for the US. They are both focused on the development of Kosovo,” Thaci said.

Speaking about the 100 percent tax, Thaci estimated that it gave Serbia more international weight than economic benefits to Kosovo.

Thaci criticized the executive for the Washington agreement, saying it was “painful” that the recognition point had been removed.

“I still do not know the circumstances of how that point was removed, while the topic of the ‘mini Schengen’ has always been a topic of conversation on our part,” Thaci said.

He added that in addition to these two points, other points were also discussed in Berlin.

When asked if he trusts Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, Thaci said that he does not see the will to hurt or harm Kosovo at any point, and that no one has that authority or mandate.
