NIS – In Nis, in a residential building at Calle Dragisa Cvetkovica 55, this morning around 9.30 am, a fire broke out in a solarium on the corner of the building towards Calle Uros Predic.
In half an hour, the fire practically destroyed the interior of the solarium, and only the rapid intervention of the Nis firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the houses of the building.
– First something started to creak and then the smoke rose, so we had to quickly leave the building. Fortunately, firefighters arrived quickly and located the fire in the sunroom itself, the tenant says.
The fire caused significant property damage, but fortunately none of the employees, tenants, and passers-by were injured. It is presumed that the fire was caused by a malfunction of the electrical installations, but the real cause will be announced by the Police after the ongoing investigation.
