Kon adds that there was no transmission of the virus within the school, but that the children were infected in the family.

He told Tanjug that eight students and seven employees in elementary schools and nine students and one employee in high schools were infected.

“The situation in schools in Belgrade shows that surveillance is working, which is important because the virus will increasingly be in the spotlight. Talking about whether schools should be closed or not will not depend on epidemiological measures, because already have been taken, but mainly on whether it will be possible to teach or not, and that is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education, “said Kon.

Since the beginning of the school year in Belgrade, 36 students and 13 employees in primary schools and 22 students in secondary schools and four employees have been infected.
