Predrag Kon is on Chronicle of Belgrade, on the occasion of today’s session of crisis personnel and new measures taken by the Government, said the medical part of the crisis staff did not give in to the introduction of softer measures and did not agree to a compromise.

“It’s a question of whether we make a compromise or accept the fact that economic reasons prevailed at the time,” Kon said.

He explains that the situation was different around May 6, when it was the weekend, and that when “we asked that it be closed all weekend, and that Professor Nestorović did not.”

He pointed out that it was within the medical part itself and that it was possible and a compromise at that time.

“It was decided to extend the working day, that is, the working day that was given until 8:00 p.m., and within that we continue to insist that something change, and that it be not four square meters but nine square meters in shopping malls, dilute and reduce that density in shopping centers. It is something that has been decided the same and the regulations have been entered, ”says Kon.

“The vaccine that is available is the vaccine for you”

Vaccination against coronavirus is underway in Serbia, and Kon hopes that, as heard, more vaccines will be available in January: “Pfizer-Biontekova,” Sputnik V, as well as the Chinese vaccine.

Regarding the possibility that everyone can choose a vaccine, Kon explains that it depends on the distribution and that it is a very dynamic process.

“How to choose a vaccine – the one that is available at that time is a vaccine for you, I would say so and I would solve it. The certificate itself is proof of the safety and efficacy of the vaccine, “Kon said.

“Vaccination is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women”

She agrees with Dr. Emina Milošević’s advice that pregnant women should not receive the vaccine, because vaccines are never recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women from the beginning.

“Over time, these data are discovered in accidental cases, when a woman is vaccinated and does not know that she is pregnant, and then you can see if there are any consequences, so it comes with time. “Theoretically, there is no reason against it, but that doesn’t mean anything. There is no evidence that anything can affect the fetus,” explained Kon.
