The investigation against Radovan S. for the murder of Milovan Marinkovic (52), in September in the vicinity of Osecina, continued yesterday at the Valjevo Superior Prosecutor’s Office with the questioning of a witness who confirmed that the late Marinkovic also sent him threatening messages.
It should be remembered that after the crime in the murderer’s family home, it was suspected that the wife of the suspect Vesna S. and the deceased were in a relationship and that the crime was committed out of jealousy. However, as Kurir wrote, the disturbing and threatening messages that investigators found and that the murdered man sent to Vesna S., otherwise a respectable doctor, shed a different light on the whole case.
– The witness questioned yesterday confirmed that the murdered Marinković not only sent threatening messages to Vesna S., but did the same to him. This Novi Sad resident reportedly reported him to the police due to messages saying, among other things, “the darkness will eat you.”
Yesterday, the courier also contacted Radovan S.’s defense attorney, Ivan Gvozdenec’s attorney, but did not want to discuss the content of the witness’s testimony.
– I cannot go into the content of the testimony of the questioned witness, but I can say that it confirmed the position expressed by the defense, and I believe that the result of the investigation will show who is the true victim of this tragic event – said Gvozdenac briefly.
