The Washington agreement has nothing to do with Serbia and Kosovo

The Chairman of the Self-Determination Movement, Albin Kurti, said it appears that the agreement reached on September 4 in Washington showed “that it has nothing to do with Kosovo and Serbia.”

– The agreement was made in an electoral year, that agreement with two types of obligations of the two leaders to himself from the point of view of the emissary (Richard) Grenel, is not much for the two countries that we believe are Kosovo and Serbia, but yes for the other two countries: Michigan and Ohio, because there are Albanians in Michigan and Serbs in Ohio – said Kurti for KTV television, alluding to the US federal states where Republicans and Democrats have the same level of voter support.

Speaking about air traffic, Kurti asked “how is it possible to fly on the Pristina-Belgrade, Belgrade-Pristina route, when Serbia doesn’t recognize our passports?”

Kurti assessed that the Washington agreement was reached in a great hurry and that he had never seen so much on a page and a half in his life, Kosovo reports online.

– This soup text is not applicable. It is elective. I welcome the recognition of Israel. This should be used to create so many bridges of cooperation in all aspects. But we must save Israel’s recognition of the agreement with Serbia. It is important that we receive and concretize this recognition from Israel in bilateral cooperation, and not with the text of September 4, in which Kosovo obviously made many concessions to Serbia, and Serbia made few concessions to the United States … – he said, among other things, Kurti.
