It is known that in many buildings, by the way, the rule is that people with pets usually go alone in the elevator, while it is mandatory that the dog is on a leash.
However, this measure does not belong to the special covid measures that were introduced due to the pandemic.
The notice posted on the building also states that the fine for non-compliance with this measure is 150,000 dinars, Nova reports.
In April, the rules for buildings were recommended: each one was supposed to have a tenant on duty every day, on each floor or more of them regularly cleaned handrails, switches, intercoms and all those surfaces that often touch the building.
Disinfection of elevators and entrances is also one of the measures, and the president of the house council should have made a list of the people in charge of these measures and verified that all regularly comply with the cleaning obligations.
We know that cats, dogs, and several other species of animals can become infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid 19, but the exact mechanism of transmission and what other animals can become infected is not yet known.
The World Health Organization says that “according to current evidence, human-to-human transmission remains the main driver of the pandemic,” but that “additional evidence is needed to understand whether animals and pets can spread the disease.” .
