The Minister thanked Siemens for the scholarships given to our students from Kragujevac and Belgrade.
Siemens Mobility technical director Eberhard Lange said that in the last two years, they have gone through a process of transformation from a single component manufacturer to the production of complete trams.
“Complete trams are produced here. The first tram underwent an inspection process last week and we can expect the tram to go to its new home in Germany very soon. There are many projects underway, many trams will be produced here and used. in all Europe”. Lange told Tanjug.
Kragujevac Mayor Nikola Dai noted that Siemens’ arrival in that city represents an opportunity for a huge economic boom not only in Kragujevac but throughout Serbia.

He says Siemens employs young people in Kragujevac, but also offers vocational training to young engineers.

The main production and administration facility is located in an area of 25,000 square meters, while the new production plant of 11,300 square meters was inaugurated on August 1 last year.
Siemens also has a Belgrade branch employing 16 people, and in Kragujevac there is also the Siemens Engineering Center where young engineers are trained, which currently employs about 50 engineers.
Minister Momirovi also visited “MIND Park”, a modern industrial complex built by businessman Bratislav Milanovi in Lunice, near Kragujevac.
At the moment, several production halls have been completed there, from where components for human industry are largely exported.
