Srđan F. (54) from Leskovac was arrested on suspicion that on Friday he broke into the home of Ivan D. from the village of Zloćudovo near Leskovac and beat his family because they were late in paying their 10,000 euro debt.
Money for surgery
Iván’s family was brutally beaten on Friday afternoon and the incident occurred at his family’s home. As we have learned from the hosts, Srdjan threatened to drop a bomb and kill them all. He attacked Ivan’s father, mother, wife, and son!
Ivan confirmed that he owed Srdjan money, but did not expect him to attack and beat him and his family.
– I borrowed 10,000 euros from her in March to pay for my wife’s operation and have something to invest in agriculture. Every month I gave him 700 euros with interest. However, this month we were 10 days late and he broke into our house, says Ivan D.
For the rest, this family was preparing to go to a cousin’s party and no one knew what would happen.
– He was screaming, asking us for money. Then he hit my wife and me on the head. He also hurt his wife’s hand. It was terrible – says Ivan’s father, George, showing a bruise on the eye, and his wife a bloody hand.
Radinka, Ivan’s wife, was surprised.
– He attacked us, yelled at us and hit us … I fainted with fear – Radinka says through tears.
Ivan D.’s family eventually ended up in the hospital with minor injuries.
– We’re afraid he’ll come back. His threats were terrible, members of this family say.
In custody
Nebojsa Dimitrijevic, director of Leskovac General Hospital, says for Kurir that the family is now receiving treatment at home.
“After receiving help, they were released home,” said Dimitrijevic.
The enraged assailant left and the police soon arrested him. Srdjan F. was detained for up to 48 hours and the investigation continues. He is accused of committing the crimes of greed and duress in an attempt.

It is strange that the case was reported only after a few hours, but the police went out into the field, a source familiar with the case told Kurir. As we learned, the ambulance team also went to the field. – However, the second version of this event is that no bomb exploded, but rather firecrackers. However, what exactly happened will be determined by the investigation, said our interlocutor.
