Before it was like that, and now it is also so obvious – our interlocutor told us.
A small number of New Belgraders believe this is child’s play. Stevan Đokić, Security and Investigation Advisor, also told Kurir that these are most likely burglars marking the time when the owners are not at home so they can enter and steal valuables without hindrance.

– It is a classic classification of apartments for theft. This method has been around for a long time. Imagine the bell as one hour, based on what time it is at the time, the thief leaves an “X” mark at that location. They know that there are cameras in most buildings, so the first group of thieves is going to mark the apartments of team “X”, then comes the second group of thieves who are ready to rob. Thanks to the bell code, they know what time they should arrive at a certain address and when no one is home, Đokić explains, adding:
– For years, burglars have been flagging apartments like this, because in essence, rarely does someone check the doorbell and pay no attention to it, so they rarely see that spark.

As they added, it is now much clearer to them.
