Members of the Ministry of the Interior, Service for the Fight against Organized Crime, in cooperation with the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, arrested eight members of an organized criminal group and seized a larger quantity of narcotics.
In several separate actions, as well as during the raid of eight apartments and four vehicles used by the suspects, the police found around 14 kilograms of amphetamines, around 1.7 kilograms of heroin, a small amount of cocaine and about three kilograms of a mixture to mix.
Likewise, some 28,000 euros were seized, allegedly from the sale of drugs, as well as three motor vehicles.
Due to the existence of grounds to suspect that they committed criminal acts of association with the purpose of committing criminal acts and unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, RP (34), DB (31), UD (33), NP (30) were arrested. ), ST (22). , JR (35), S. Đ. (50) and MG (40).
They are suspected of selling heroin, amphetamine and cocaine in Belgrade and other Serbian cities by burying the drug in glass and plastic containers in pre-marked locations, where customers collected it and left the money.
The suspects were detained for up to 48 hours and will be transferred to the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, along with a criminal complaint.
