The application for the Serbian Government program “My first salary” ended yesterday. Employers advertised 8,400 positions for 13,500 positions for young people with no previous work experience.
Of the total number of positions advertised, 70 percent of the spots are for high school graduates and about 30 percent for those with a college degree.
The “My first salary” program is aimed at young people without work experience with the aim of facilitating their employment in the profession.
Thanks to the “My first salary” program, 10,000 young people with secondary and higher education, up to the age of 30, will have the opportunity to acquire their first work experience. The state provided a monthly cash benefit, based on education, for a total amount of 20,000 and 24,000 dinars, respectively.
The registration of employers to participate in the “My first salary” program lasts until Friday, September 25, 2020, and the registration of candidates will be enabled on the portal www.mojaprvaplata.gov.rs, in the period from 1 to October 15, 2020.
