RTS reporter Vladimir Banić in Yerevan describes the situation in the Armenian capital as tense, stating that six policemen checked his journalistic accreditation.

It claims that a large number of children from Nagorno-Krabah are unofficially said to stay in hotels and other accommodation in Yerevan and other cities, while the fighting at the front unfolds with constant ferocity.

As he says, the news that four Azerbaijani drones were heading towards Yerevan was later denied. Only one drone reached the vicinity of the Armenian capital, while the remaining three were shot down over Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to our reporter, that did not scare the Jeremiahs, adding that the air hazard sirens did not sound.

The Azerbaijani army’s move only further enraged them and strengthened their resolve, as RTS interlocutors said, adding that they hoped that this conflict would be final and drive the opposing troops out of the Nagorno-Karabakh territory.

Manipulations of the number of victims

As for the propaganda war, the number of victims is being manipulated. Azerbaijani authorities claim that Armenia has up to 2,300 dead and wounded, while Yerevan claims that the number is only 100 and that Azerbaijan has about 800 victims.

Armenia is claimed to occupy all strategic positions in the disputed area, while the other party flatly denies this, saying that after the latest action by the Azerbaijani army, Armenian troops fled.

An RTS reporter claims that about 15 volunteers in uniform arrived in Yerevan on night flights, ready to go to the front.

Citizens of Serbia work both in Armenia and Azerbaijan, so the two athletes came to Yerevan.

Kragujevac soccer player Ivan Božović says he signed a contract with the Armenian club just two days before the conflict started. “I was thinking whether or not I would come, but my teammates who played here before convinced me that there were no fears and that it was possible to come,” added Bozovic.

He affirms that the league competition stopped after the declaration of the state of war, but that, as he was told, it will continue after the national team break.

Bozovic says that he is not afraid and that after the story he realized that the conflicts between Armenia and Azerbaijan over Nagrono-Karabakh are frequent and he hopes they will end soon.

Due to the injuries sustained by French journalists, a new regime is in force to enter Nagrono-Karabakh. The RTS team, if you obtain a permit, will only be able to enter accompanied by the Yerevan authorities.
