The Serbian government has adopted new measures to combat the coronavirus epidemic, which apply to primary and secondary school students.

As announced, from November 30 until the start of winter holidays on December 21, distance classes will be taught for students from fifth to eighth of primary school and for secondary school students.

“Winter break begins on December 21 and ends on January 15, 2021, and will be valid for all primary and secondary students in the territory of Serbia,” the announcement stated.

The Government of Serbia has decided to extend the reduction in working hours to 6:00 p.m. in restaurants, betting houses and shopping centers, and in stores until 9:00 p.m. until December 15.

In today’s session, the Audit Law Project was approved, which allows the Tax Administration to monitor and control taxpayers who avoid paying taxes more efficiently. It allows an increase in the number of fiscal controls at the headquarters of the fiscal authority, which reduces the need for field controls.

Members of the government have adopted a program of financial support for sports organizations in economically difficult conditions due to the coronavirus pandemic. To preserve the stability of sports in the Olympic and Paralympic branches, 1,100,000,000 dinars were provided.
