Milić was once the youngest rookie in the national team, and from 2012 to 2018 he defended the colors of Vardar, with whom he was also European champion.
Meanwhile, he disappeared from the handball map, and one of the main reasons was that he weighed up to 216 kilograms.
– Here, I’m trying to get back to sports. I wanted to start from scratch, go back to my home club. Let’s try to take everything to a higher level, but first I have to fix myself to be at the level that the handball world remembers me – said Milić for TV Partizan and added:
– If someone had told me that I would stop playing for two years, I would not have believed them. My idea was to stop for six months, because that passion faded. My agony lasted two years, in which I hated coming to training. Change.
Milić entered his opening minutes after two years in Partizan’s defeat to Dinamo in the semi-finals of the Cup “Prof. Dr. Branislav Pokrajac (26:22). He entered the game in the 28th minute and scored six saves until final.
