As Minister Vulin noted, the state of Serbia can be proud of these people and “can be sure that as long as there are such people and such an army, peace will rule for a long time.”

– Peace in the Balkans only lasts when Serbia is strong and when Serbia has such a strong army. Today everything went according to plan, all units carried out their tasks in the best possible way. We hope that tomorrow will be the same and that tomorrow Serbia will be happy with the image of a proud, organized, modern and equipped army – said the Defense Minister.

General Mojsilovic said the dress rehearsal featured “complex tactical and operational actions and procedures.”

– I am completely satisfied with what I saw today, considering that the cooperation between the Air Force units and the Army was achieved with great precision in place and time, and the effect of the fire on the targets was impressive.. We can also be proud of the capabilities that have not been visible or shown so far, and that today fully enter the long-term sphere not only in the development plan of the defense system but also at the tactical level, where a kind of cohesion is expressed – said the Chief of Staff.

Approximately 2,800 members of the Serbian army and the Ministry of Defense participate in the exercise “Cooperation 2020”, more than 150 combat and non-combat vehicles and systems and about 40 aircraft. These include a large number of modernized funds and defense industry development funds, which will act together for the first time in one of those exercises.

A part of the capabilities of the Serbian Army, Air Force and Air Defense units will be shown with a combat group from the Land Army and the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and the 63rd Parachute Brigade. According to the number of units engaged, this is one of the largest exercises, taking into account the recruitment of new funds with which the Serbian army was equipped in the previous period.

The joint tactical exercise with combat shooting “Sadejstvo 2020” will take place tomorrow at 12 noon on the Temporary Proving Ground “Peshter”, with a live broadcast of the First Program of Serbian Radio and Television.
