The sacrifice of some people should not be in vain

Dr. Danica Grujicic sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the New Year on Facebook, in which she told citizens that the crown is a great challenge for society, but that it taught us to appreciate health and life as well as how important it is to think of others.

– Unfortunately, we cannot remember this year for trips, concerts, gatherings and gatherings, this year was marked by a pandemic and quarantine. My colleagues around the world will remember her for her work in the most risky and strenuous conditions, writes Dr. Grujicic on his Facebook profile, adding:

– After a lot of patients and struggles with KOVID. As a doctor, I learned to look at everything positively and hope that it will be good in the end. So I look at this whole situation, the world has slowed down, we had the opportunity to do everything we talked about for years so that we don’t have time. Greater solidarity and empathy developed. Families were together more than ever, we all slowed down our pace of life and dedicated ourselves to those closest to us. I think we realized in this moment that material things and expensive travel are not the most important thing, that we can live without staying in the most expensive restaurants and hotels. We have learned to value health and life, and how important it is to think of others. If we are in full strength and have excellent immunity, it is important to keep those who are not in such a healthy condition by our side. Although this pandemic has caused enormous damage to all states and societies, we have been warned to appreciate those imperishable and eternal things in our lives! she writes.

– Once again I take the opportunity to express my admiration to my colleagues who worked in the kovid zone, who work shifts in spacesuits every day for almost a year. Doctors, nurses, technicians, medical personnel, cleaners … they have put in a great effort and I hope that people today understand how important health is and how much we have to invest in it and in our doctors. Unfortunately, we have lost wonderful and great people in this chaos. Their sacrifice should not be in vain, we must come out of this, at least, as better people with more compassion and empathy. I want everyone, first of all, to be healthy and stay healthy … if they are fighting disease, to beat it! Have compassion and empathy for others, be together with your neighbors and have more and more of us each year. Let’s not experience a year like this again and let the next be better! – added and finally concluded:

– THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE WORKED TO WIN IN THESE HARD TIMES – said Dr. Grujicic.
