Stefan Đurić Rasta was detained for 30 days on suspicion of selling marijuana!

The higher prosecutor’s office asked the court to keep the rapper behind bars, stating that there are indications that he not only used narcotics but also traded in them. The judge accepted such a proposal and Rasta was arrested yesterday afternoon.

According to Kurir, Đurić came to the Palace of Justice building visibly nervous and nervous, probably because he assumed a possible outcome. He told the judge that he was not a dealer, but that it was generally known that he only used marijuana and that the amount of drug found was for personal use. He arrived at the Public Ministry building around ten in the morning and gave a statement until two in the afternoon. After that, a 30-minute break was established, so the judge announced his decision: Stefan Đurić Rasta is accused of drug trafficking and ordered to be detained for a month.

The rapper was taken out of the Palace of Justice in a patrol car, while his associates left the main entrance, not wanting to give statements to the media. His lawyer, Vuk Tufegdzic, told Kurir that he considered Rasta’s arrest unfounded.

– They accuse him of having marijuana for sale, and everyone knows that he is not a trafficker, but that he consumed it. I think her arrest was unjustifiably ordered just for being a public figure, to show that celebrities end up behind bars – she said.

It should be remembered that Đurić was searched for the first time by the police in the center of Belgrade on Friday afternoon and several bags of marijuana were found, and with him was another guy, who allegedly possessed a certain amount of cocaine. Immediately afterwards a search of his apartment in Vracar was ordered, where the police found a greater quantity of drugs. The Superior Public Ministry soon announced that the suspects had been detained for up to 48 hours.

Ever since he appeared on the music scene, Đurić has been constantly talking about regular marijuana use, promoting it as healthy and recommending everyone to give it a try. He knew that the possession and use of narcotics was illegal, but he always said it was a misinterpretation. He posted photos of him holding marijuana in his hand to his Instagram account multiple times, but it was only on Friday that he posted a photo showing his face and joint in his mouth. It is presumed that the police reacted after that, they found him and searched him.
