Tonight, the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office questioned members of the eight-member organized criminal group, which is in charge of trafficking various types of drugs, and proposed that they remain in preventive detention.
Following the hearing, the prosecution issued an order to conduct an investigation against Petar Ristic, Uros Dimic, Dusan Budrovac, Nebojsa Petkovic, Slobodan Djeric, Mladen Gvozdenovic, Jelena Radisavljevic and Sanela Taric, the sister of the murdered Smail Taric, who was beheaded in Karadj ten years ago.
The prosecutor requested custody of seven suspects, while proposing a measure prohibiting Sanela Tarić from leaving the apartment, the prosecutor’s office told Tanjug tonight.
They are charged with association for the purpose of committing criminal acts and unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.
The group was arrested this Thursday by order of the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, when during the search of eight departments and four vehicles they used, 14 kilograms of amphetamine, around 1.7 kilograms of heroin, a small amount of cocaine and some three kilograms of mixing mixture.
Three pistols were also found, some 50 pieces of ammunition, 28,000 euros, which are suspected to come from the sale of drugs, as well as three motor vehicles.
This group is suspected of selling heroin, cocaine and amphetamines in Belgrade and other Serbian cities from February this year to October 15, burying the drug in glass and plastic containers in pre-marked locations where customers collected and left money.
