“The prosecution must react, Djilas simply drove the police away to reach Bosko Obradovic.”

Parliamentarians from the Serbian progressive party Aleksandar Martinovic and Sandra Bozic have started a hunger strike on the steps in front of the National Assembly due to, as we discovered, the prosecutor’s non-reaction to the violence of leader Dveri Bosko Obradovic, who hit MP Marijan Risticevic and verbally attacked him in front of Parliament Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar.

“We will not renounce the request to punish those responsible for the attack on Marijan Risticevic. The attack was led by Dragan Djilas and Bosko Obradovic.

I thank my colleague Božić and ask him to end the hunger strike, and I will continue. I also thank the gathered people who came to support us.

• 

These people could not pass by and shake hands with us, but that is why Djilas, with Borko Stefanovic and Zeljko Veselinovic, pushed past the police.

• 

Djilas is now with Obradovic and instructs him on what to do next. And this is proof of the level of democracy in Serbia.

As Martinovic spoke, screams were heard in the background: “Aco, Serbs”, “Djilas, thieves” …

“But we will not give up. We will not allow the prosecution to remain silent about fascist attacks on parliamentarians. Whoever guarantees something to a common citizen guarantees if the prosecution does not react and if there are protected people, such as Djilas.” – Martinović continued.

Martinović also referred to Obradović’s attack with his hooligans on Marijan Rističević

“What Bosko did two days ago is a prison sentence of two to five years. We are fighting for Serbia to be a legal and political country, as well as for the Constitution to be respected!”

None of us agreed to be lynched, but we don’t accept being the target of hooligans who can beat us until they kill us!
