The president answered how he would spend the new year and holidays, but also what GIFTS he had for the children

In the New Year’s conversation, the head of state showed what is hidden behind that “facade”.

He has never spoken more openly about his three children: what kind of relationship he has with the eldest Danilo, why he is overly protective of his daughter Milica, and how he plays with the youngest Vukan. For the first time, he talked about growing up with his brother Andrej and why Vučić’s men never talk about emotional topics. He also revealed how you can surprise your associates, what relaxes you, and what decisions you made on the New Year. In the interview, Vučić also spoke about the war with the mafia, who had been eavesdropping on him for a year and a half, and what he was saying to the new government of Montenegro.

It’s vacation time, leave more time for the family. How are you going to spend New Years Eve?

– I have never given importance to celebrations, I hope to have a day or two to dedicate to German and Russian and spend more time with the children.

Have you prepared New Year’s gifts for children?

– I prepared a gift for Danilo a little earlier. It will be a good wine because my father loves wine. I have prepared a valuable book for Milica, and Vukan loves toy helicopters, and I don’t know where to find a toy helicopter that is not there anymore, but he will certainly be very happy about it.

Do you have a festive ritual? How much do you respect customs? What Christmas customs do you and your whole family respect?

– We respect glory and Christmas and Easter, as the greatest Christian holiday. In keeping with tradition, like most Serbian families, we welcome such a holiday, from the post to everything else, and that is the time for family reunions. You always have a somewhat solemn tone, and I think the most important thing is that it is a moment in which you can show all your love for children, for your family, and that is the moment when you probably feel better – concluded the President.
