He noted that the president of the SNS and Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, would announce the name of the new designated prime minister and his expectations tonight at 8 p.m., in accordance with his authorizations.

Mali says that Vučić asked the new prime minister for rotations in the Serbian government. “New faces are expected,” he added. “Vucic insisted on new faces, new energy,” he said.

“The presidential session focused on one issue, and that is President Vučić’s proposal on who will be the new appointed prime minister for the new government. We, as the presidency, unanimously accept his proposal,” Mali said.

Mali added that they also discussed the results of the Government of Serbia so far, emphasizing that special emphasis was placed on the economy and the fight against the coronavirus.

“There will be a government of political continuity and new faces,” he tells TV Prva Mali, who is the current finance minister of the Serbian government.

Asked if he will keep his portfolio, Mali said that specific names in the new government were not discussed today and that this will be the subject of the next session of the SNS Presidency, which he expects to be held in the next seven days.

“I think there will be a new session on Monday, I think then the designated prime minister will present specific names,” Mali said.

He added that his vision is to be part of Aleksandar Vučić and the SNS.

He reiterated that the specific names of the new government and the coalition partners will be discussed in the next session.
