Miroslav Milutinović’s naked and bloody body was found early yesterday in a large bush between the buildings and near the Vidovdan camp at Center 3 in Borča. The body of the young man was noticed by a postman who immediately called the police. According to the tenants, the police investigation dragged on for hours yesterday.
– The police surrounded the whole area, they must have been here five hours. No one was allowed to pass, I had to enter the building from the other side – says the tenant of the building.
The tenants say they did not hear or see anything until yesterday when the area was occupied by police, forensic teams and inspectors. One tenant added that she saw the police coming from the terrace, but the police officers warned her to enter the apartment and not leave until the investigation was completed.
Miroslav Milutinovic’s body was completely naked and bloody. According to unofficial information, a syringe needle was found in one hand, so it was initially suspected that the young man had suffered an overdose, however, the investigation showed that Miroslav was brutally murdered.
– This is a quiet area and most of the older people live in this building. The young man is not from our building, someone brought him here – adds a neighbor in front of whose entrance the body was found.
The tenants add that they heard that the body of the young man was covered with the remains of an old bed, which is still in front of the building.
Tortured and killed in the apartment
The apartment where the murder occurred is only a few buildings from where the body was found. The crime scene is located in the attic of the building and, as we found out, the apartment was rented by the arrested Nedeljko Vanović. Tenants say noise was often heard from this apartment and parties were being held in it.
Some neighbors say that Miroslav and Nedeljko lived together.
According to unofficial information, both young men were drug addicts and Miroslav allegedly owed money to Nedeljko, who beat him to death due to an unpaid debt.

The building where the crime occurred has surveillance cameras of which the police have already taken the images.
