The police first noticed that something was wrong with the decal, and then problems began to arise – they realized who was behind the wheel!

Members of the Interior Ministry, the Traffic Police Administration, with the help of cameras in a patrol vehicle, detained a 36-year-old driver of an “Audi” car whose registration expired today around 10.20 am in New Belgrade.

During regular traffic control, traffic cops stopped the driver on Nikola Tesla Boulevard, whose vehicle had its registration tag expired late last year.

A greater control established that the 36-year-old was driving under the influence of cocaine and heroin, as well as that a search was announced for the existence of reasons to suspect that he committed the crime of theft.

The driver was detained at the official police facilities and will be charged with the corresponding misdemeanors.
