Although inspectors from the Prijepolje Police Administration tried to find him, Tandir remained inaccessible to the police until Thursday morning. According to unofficial information from the Prijepolje police, work is being done to clarify the facts related to this event, the clearest image of which should be given by the video recordings in the Centrala settlement, where the conflict took place.
The Basic Public Ministry of Prijepolje informed us that criminal charges for minor bodily injury will be brought against Tandir in a regular procedure.
Sead Veljović reported to the police Samir Tandir, deputy in the current convocation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, vice president of the Justice and Reconciliation Party of Zukorlić and councilor of the Municipal Assembly of Prijepolje, saying that Tandir struck him with hammers of meat after an argument.
As his lawyer Haris Rovčanin told “Blic”, Veljović suffered injuries to his head, hips and certain parts of his body during the attack. Due to the injuries he received, he is from Prijepolje, where he received medical help, Veljović was transferred to the Užice hospital for a head scan.
Veljović’s wife, a close relative of Tandir, witnessed the unfortunate event. Sead Veljović told police that the dispute with Tandir took place on Izeta Čavića Street in Prijepolje. During the fight, the wounded man said, the MP pulled out two meat hammers, a hammer and attacked him.
Veljović reported that after two blows to the head by Tandir, he fell to the ground and lost consciousness to some extent, and was then hit several more times while trying to get up and defend himself from the attacker. He also said that his wife tried to avoid the conflict, but that Tandir did not respond to her requests.
Veljović said that at one point he managed to dodge the blow and that Tandir hit the concrete instead of him because of the check, the hammer broke.
On Wednesday morning, certain stories were published from Prijepolje that the conflict on Izet Cavic Street occurred after Veljovic attacked Tandir and he retaliated. The same circles claim that Tandir was attacked by a husband whom his wife cheated on with Tandir.
Veljović denies all this, claiming that he was the victim of the attack and asking a logical question: “How could a woman cheat on me with a close relative?”
