The PIO fund warned retirees: do not fall for fraud

PIO Fund today warned pensioners not to be victims of fraud in relation to calls for payment of a certain amount of money for the mismatch of pensions, because there is no payment on that basis.

The Pension and Disability Insurance Fund announced that brochures with such false content appeared on the streets of Sremska Mitrovica, inviting pensioners to call and present a copy of their identification card, pension decision and checking account number for payment .

As emphasized in the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, there is no difference for the mismatch of pensions and there is no payment on that basis.

The Fund warned that retirees run the risk of fraud and misuse of personal data when submitting their ID card details, retirement decisions and checking account, and asked retirees not to answer the phone number on the flyer.
