The epidemiologist and member of the crisis staff for the fight against kovid-19, Dr. Branislav Tiodorović, expects the peak of the corona virus epidemic in November and December.

As he himself says, “we all have to prepare well for what awaits us at the end of the year.”

– In Europe, an epidemic is emerging, we have an epidemic that is back on the wave. It doesn’t matter if it’s the third wave or the second wave. This is still far from the peak, the peak will probably be in November or December, Tiodorović told the morning TV Montenegro show.

It also says that no country is a desert island, and that we are especially in the region, all connected and trusting each other.

– This is a difficult situation, which lasts too long. This part of Europe has entered the eighth month of the epidemic, which has caused serious fatigue of the health system, which is on the verge of resistance – said Tiodorović.

According to him, “practically the same measures are being implemented in Europe and many countries are introducing the use of a mask outdoors.” In Serbia, the recommendation to wear a mask outdoors is currently in force.

– Until the vaccine arrives, until we are sure that the vaccine will be successful, we don’t have many options. The medicine that will stop the crown is not yet in sight, Tiodorović said.

So, as things stand now, if the forecasts about the peak during November and December come true, it is hard to believe that we will have a New Years Eve organized in the city squares of Serbia.

Let us remind you that the first New Years Eve was canceled in Budva, where the biggest stars in all of the former Yugoslavia traditionally performed.
