At the Clinic for Infectious and Tropical Diseases of the Serbian Clinical Center, there were 288 covid exams in 24 hours and two deaths overnight, said the deputy director of the clinic, Ivana Milošević.
Milosevic said the Infectious Disease Clinic was “full of holes” and that 12 patients were wearing respirators.
“The night is behind us. The clinic is full of holes, 12 patients are on respirators. We also had two deaths last night. We have eight free ventilators, all departments are full,” Milosevic told RTS.
He said that some patients had to be sent from Belgrade to Pancevo or Smederevo and asked citizens to respect the measures.
Milosevic states that there are people of all ages among the patients, but that it is mostly the workforce, and warns that the clinical picture is highly unpredictable and can change at any time.
