The number of wreaths newly infected with the virus in Serbia exceeds 7,000 for days, and there is an increase in the number of deaths.

There are more than 7,500 people in hospitals and, according to doctors, there are more admissions than discharges and there are fewer and fewer free hospital beds. According to the doctor’s assessment, hospitalized patients have a more serious clinical picture.

For today a new tightening of the measures was announced, since before it did not give satisfactory results. Professor Petar Kocovic also believes that epidemiological measures must be more rigorous.

– The first wave of coronavirus was like a hill. Now we are already on a mountain and it is as if we want to climb the Himalayas, come on, come on, but we don’t see the end – said Kočović.

Speaking of the latest analyzes and forecasts, he stated that the number of crowns infected with the virus in Serbia will continue to grow in the next period.

– The number of infected people is decreasing in Europe, but not in Serbia, Croatia, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Sweden – said Kočović.

Serbia has entered the so-called black crown zone with more than 1,000 infected in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants.

Kocovic cautions that, at the same time, the figures in Europe are not naive at all, although there is a decrease, because between 300 and 500 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants is a high degree to relax the measures.

He also points out that the forecast for Serbia for the next period is not bad, but that the measures must be more rigorous in relation to those currently being applied so that the curve flattens and falls.

– According to official data, we are currently close to 200,000 infected while 35,000 have been cured. That means 165,000 are infected at home or in hospitals. We have never had such a big difference between the number of infected and cured – Kocovic emphasized.

That means that nearly 15% of the crown has healed, he added.

For the second day in a row, almost 8,000 new infected people were registered in Serbia. According to data from 3 pm yesterday, there were another 52 deaths due to the consequences of the crown. There are 270 patients on respirators.
