The number of patients using respirators is growing, 1,318 are recently infected, unfortunately 18 have died

In the last 24 hours, 7,549 citizens were tested in Serbia. Of that, 1,318 are recently infected.

Unfortunately, 18 patients died.

Across the country, 4,693 patients were hospitalized, of which 178 were on ventilators.

So far, 2,544,497 people have been tested in Serbia and 383,603 cases of coronavirus have been recorded.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, 3,886 people have died from the virus and the death rate is 1.01.

Today, there are fewer new infections compared to yesterday (1,483), but fewer have also been tested (yesterday, 9,434). There were 165 patients on ventilators on Saturday and 13 more today.

760 users and 402 employees were infected with the corona virus in social protection institutions and homes for adults and the elderly in Serbia, it was announced today.

A total of 208,596 people have been vaccinated, while to date only 34,667 have been vaccinated.

Compared to yesterday’s data from the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, the number of infected users is lower in 39 and the number of employees whose virus has been confirmed in three. Since the beginning of the epidemic in Serbia, 4,516 users and 1,907 employees have been cured in social protection institutions.
