The number of new infected exceeded 2,000, fewer died

In the previous 24 hours, 11,122 citizens were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, of which 2,093 were positive.

Unfortunately, 28 patients died.

There are 194 patients on ventilators in hospitals across Serbia.

The highest number of newly infected people (457) was again registered in Belgrade, followed by Novi Sad (225), Sabac (97), Nis (76) and Kraljevo (49).

In sixth place on the list is Vranje (47), followed by Sremska Mitrovica (45), Kragujevac (40), Jagodina (39) and Subotica (32).

The infamous list also includes Uzice (31), Valjevo (30), Zrenjanin (28), Pancevo (27), Krusevac (25), Loznica (24), Cacak (22), Stara Pazova (22) and Bogatic (21). ). ).

Other cities and municipalities have fewer than 20 new positive people in the previous 24 hours.

This morning, the Crisis Team decided to extend existing measures to fight the coronavirus until further notice. Working hours remain until 8 p.m., and there is still a measure for PCR testing for foreigners when entering the country.

The start of the summer semester will not be postponed until it is decided that there will be no organized celebration of the Serbian New Year.

Starting today, citizens of Serbia can express their interest in vaccinating against kovid-19 by completing a simple questionnaire on the portal www.euprava.gov.rs.

This is the first step in organizing mass vaccination and obtaining the date and place of immunization according to the priorities prescribed by the Serbian Institute of Public Health “Dr. Milan Jovanović” Batut.
