The new president of the municipality of Paracin, Vladimir Milicevic of the SNS

At the constitutive session, Vladimir Milićević from the list “Aleksandar Vučić-For our children” was elected the new president of the municipality of Paraćin.

Milicevic said that the new management, after seeing what the budget is like, will start “serious work”.

“We have to redistribute funds and start doing big projects. The city needs big changes, our goal is to revive Paracin and we will do everything possible to achieve it,” said Milicevic.

He also affirmed that there are projects that should have been completed, that “the previous government did not do,” as well as that in the future cooperation between the municipality of Paracin and the institutions of the republic will be “much better.”

“They did not do the documentation of the project, and the funds of the republic were provided. We will do the documentation as soon as possible and begin with the reconstruction of the hospital in Paracin, the ‘Radoje Domanovic’ school and the Social Work Center. We will do projects with Republican and European funds. “You can get money for projects, we will,” Milicevic said.

In the new convocation of the local parliament, the majority is the Serbian Progressive Party, 28 out of a total of 55 councilors.

The list of the former mayor “Sasa Paunovic-Sigurno napred” has 14 councilors, the list “All in favor of Paracin-Tomislav Saletic” has five, the list “Zdrava prica” ​​has four, the Socialist Party of Serbia has three and United Serbia has a councilor.

Slavica Jovanović, a law graduate, was elected president of the Paraćin Municipal Assembly, and Miloš Đokić, a political scientist and lawyer, was elected deputy.

Milan Simić was elected deputy mayor.

All of them are from the “Aleksandar Vučić-For our children” list, and were elected by secret ballot, with 38 votes “in favor”.
