The disgraced priest of the church of “San Joaquín y Ana” was handcuffed yesterday, but the beginning of this, to put it mildly, a strange case dates back several years. He took notice of his victim, then a fifteen-year-old girl, when she started coming to him in 2017 to confess.

In a conversation with the residents of Kaludjerica, to whom he went mostly before Orthodox festivals to consecrate the house and water, the reporters learned that this priest came to their settlement as punishment.

– It’s from the city center, it’s somewhere near St. Mark’s church, near Tasmajdan. I don’t know why, but as far as we’ve heard, he received our parish as punishment and he wasn’t very satisfied with it. He was able to complain that his neighbors did not give him enough money to consecrate the water, and there are many who live modestly here. Imagine that priest who can ask you for money without a hint of shame, and not once! – says a local, adding that he is not surprised that he was fired from the Serbian Orthodox Church.

While some say that he is a seemingly normal man for whom such a thing could never be thought of, although they had no closer contact with him except by the way, others claim that they themselves had trouble with him.

One woman, who asked reporters not to reveal her identity, said the neighborhood was known to be “more open” to women.

– On one occasion she touched me inappropriately and at first I thought she had imagined it and that it was a random movement, and then I told a friend who told me that at her house, while her husband was there, she was doing pop with hands. movement simulating sexual intercourse! Horror, what can I tell you? He was able to weigh women very openly and look at their breasts, and did not choose the time or place, says this woman.

A younger resident, who attended elementary school with the priest’s victim, says she has long known the story that he and the minor are in a love affair.

– It is said here in Kaludjerica that he recently made a scene for him at a funeral, since he supposedly saw him with a woman. Their relationship was discussed, but no one spoke of it in public – the story of the victim’s acquaintances.

Haunted him for years, so he made love?

As it was known, the priest of ZM approached the girl when she went to him to confess. During 2018, he persistently tried to establish an emotional sexual relationship with her through manipulations, but failed then. However, during the service and tour of the parish in 2019, the prodigal priest arrived at the house where the girl lives. Unfortunately, at that time, the minor was alone at home and the lascivious priest took advantage of the situation and initiated sexual relations with the minor, who later deflowered.

He and the child continued their relationship and she became pregnant within a few months. After she terminated the pregnancy, the priest continued to persecute and harass her. In March 2020, her obsession reached such proportions that it physically assaulted and injured her.

In today’s hearing with the prosecutor, he defended himself by keeping silent and two criminal charges were brought against him: for adultery for abusing his position and persecution!
