The mystery of the death of Vanjel Knezevic, which ended at the bottom of the well, several stories circulate

The lifeless body of 39-year-old Vanjel Knezevic, known by the nickname Lava, was found in a well on a farm in Tork on Wednesday morning, October 21.

Aside from official confirmation from the police, that the body was found even after being pulled from the well and sent for an autopsy, no details are known so far that could possibly indicate the cause of the mysterious death of a working pastor.

Lavi did all the agricultural work on the farms near Begej. Various stories and versions of Lavi’s mysterious death are circulating in Tork, there is even a version according to which four migrants, in a wave, next to a well, were seen sitting in the early hours of the morning, and when the neighbors of Tork approached them, fled in the direction of Novi. He adds that he is convinced that Lavi did not fall into the well alone, through the opening, which is not even half a meter.

– The owner of the farm, he was in Zrenjanin, in the hospital for an examination, he heard from Lavi around seven thirty, before the seller in the local market saw him on a bicycle – says Lavi’s cousin, pointing that he called his brother Christian Lavi around eight thirty and asked him to buy it and bring cigarettes to the farm.

In addition to the opening through which he fell into the well, the farm owner found Lavi’s jacket and hat, and apart from the water pressure pump, which Lavi apparently wanted to activate, there were no traces of possible violence and fighting for life. It is an accident and Vanjel Knezevic, while trying to activate the water pump, fell into the well through a concrete opening.
