Commenting on the fact that the situation in Serbia is still relatively controlled and there are no jumps in the number of people infected with the corona virus, as is happening in Europe and the region these days, Dr. Srdja Jankovic said that with the wearing masks and respecting the measures we prevent the virus appears in our country to a greater extent than it is now.

He noted that there are no gradual risks, adding that returnees can bring the virus, but also that every gathering carries a risk.

– We must take care of how to minimize risks. It is dangerous to act as if there is no virus – said Dr. Janković.

Regarding returnees, Dr. Janković notes that a measure has been introduced for them, a measure of collective awareness that we all contribute together to the outcome.

– The objective was not to point the finger at anyone, but it is important to have quick reactions, but also to be aware of the appearance of risk. Now we can react better when we have an idea of ​​the situation. That is the first precondition for it to be controlled and changed, said Dr. Janković.

As he says, the movement is not limited to anyone, nor will it be.

– Most experts believe that we cannot completely prevent transmission of the virus during the season, but it is important to control and not allow uncontrolled growth – said Dr. Janković.

Commenting on the situation in the region, the doctor says that the virus is not synchronized everywhere, adding that there are fluctuations that are inevitable.

– The industry has started, especially tourism, which carries risks and no country can fully control it – said Dr. Janković.

Commenting on vaccines, Janković said that what they consist of and their composition is very important from a professional point of view, noting that it is above all important for the people where they come from, but also that it is not of crucial importance.

As he says, everyone is a little tired and wants this to be over, so they all went to the max to find the best vaccine.

– No country can withstand the psychological pressure to implement measures without stopping – said Dr. Janković.
