The motive for the family tragedy in Aleksinac was revealed: “He followed Milena and fired, and when she collapsed, he turned the barrel on himself and fired.”

Milena P. (44), originally from Kraljevo, married in the village of Gornja Peščanica with a temporary residence in Aleksinac, was murdered tonight around 5 pm by her ex-husband Saša P. (51) from Gornja Peščanica. According to the first information, the motive of the felony is jealousy.

The crime occurred at the entrance to Aleksinac, under Brdjanka on the sidewalk not far from the old “Nis Express” bus station.

– Sasha and Milena got divorced on September 3. He previously left the village where he lived with Sasha and got a job in a company in Aleksinac. Sasha waited for her today when she returned from work to try to bring her back to town one more time. He tried several times because after the divorce, Milena went to town to visit her sick daughter, who stayed to live with her father. However, Milena was constantly rejecting him, so word spread that she had a new friend in Aleksinac with whom she lives. That was the culmination of Sasha’s jealousy. Today, he intercepted Milena, where he first pleaded with her and then threatened her. When he realized that he had missed, he started shooting. He fired four shots at Milena while trying to escape. He followed her and fired, and when she collapsed, he turned the barrel on himself and fired, an interlocutor familiar with the case told Alo.rs.

Astonished passersby called an ambulance. Sasha was showing signs of life, but soon died in hospital.

The news of the bloody confrontation between the spouses resounded in Gornja Peščanica, but it did not seem to surprise the locals. The neighbors were familiar with their relationship because Sasha was complaining to everyone that Milena had left him for someone else and mentioned that he would judge both her and himself.

Sasha’s father, Damnjan P., said the same.

– The tragedy was expected because the divorce on September 3 destroyed Sasha. They lived in a harmonious marriage for two decades. We were poor, but we managed to strengthen and simplify the home over the years. Sasha worked in a pipe factory in Aleksinac until an accident occurred when the machine cut off his fingers, resulting in him becoming a disabled pensioner. Last year, Milena started complaining that everything was falling on her shoulders. They married one daughter and the other stayed with us in the village. Sasa tried to reply to Milena, but she just went to Aleksinac, got a job, and rented an apartment. Truth be told, he came to see his daughter and Sasha was always begging for him to come back, so he tried to do it today. – says Father Damnjan.

What happened during the meeting at the scene of the tragedy is a secret that the couple took to the grave. Next to the pool of blood, he found a stuffed red heart.

According to one party, Sasha tried to give it to Milena and persuaded her to return, while others think that Milena showed it to Sasha by letting him know that she received it from another man she is in a relationship with and that she will not return. That caused an uncontrollable rage in Sasha and she threw the postman down. Jealousy judged both her and him.

After the on-site investigation, the police, by order of the prosecutor, continue investigative actions in order to determine the details and reasons for the serious family tragedy.
