NOVI SAD – At the Vojvodina Clinical Center (KCV), 46 patients are currently being treated, and it has been confirmed that they have contracted kovid 19, which is one more than yesterday’s data.
In five patients, given their current health status, the treatment requires the use of mechanical ventilation, which is one patient less than yesterday’s data.
KCV did not specify whether the patient died or was removed from the ventilator. The Vojvodina Institute of Public Health has not disclosed information on the current epidemiological situation in Vojvodina for days.
The president of the provincial government, Igor Mirović, said today that around 15 new patients are registered daily in Vojvodina, out of about 500 analyzed.
He told 021.rs that the highest number of patients per day is still registered in Novi Sad, but that this is expected due to the number of people living in the capital of Vojvodina.
“We only have a more serious situation in Odzaci, where we have 62 active cases. It is a municipality of 27,000 inhabitants, so the number of infected in relation to the number of inhabitants is the most pronounced. That is why an emergency situation has been introduced in Odzaci ”, said Mirovic.
Mirovic did not know the data on how many people have died from kovida 19 since the beginning of March. The latest data on the number of coronavirus deaths in Vojvodina is from the beginning of August, when until then there were 120 deaths in KCV alone.
