What a monster you have to be to come to my house and carry the coffin of my late husband, whom you had previously brutally killed!
With these words, Ana V. (38), wife of the businessman Draško Randjelović (46) from Niš, who was brutally murdered, began her confession for Kurir, the day after the police arrested brothers Nikola (34) and Marko M. (39) on suspicion that Draško, who was his employer, was killed with an ax and a mace.
They were pretending
The heinous crime occurred on October 8 in the area of the “Min Kopeks” factory in Nis, and the detainees called the police and said they found the boss dead in a pool of blood as they returned from their lunch break. Drasko’s widow says through tears that she cannot believe how hypocritical Nikola and Marko are. – They both worked for my husband. They were all paid properly, I don’t know why they killed him. On the fateful day, Drasko was so happy and satisfied. It was his first day of work in that room, which he rented – says Ana and continues: – Tragedy! After the murder, Nikola came to our house, he hadn’t come before. He insisted that it was he who carried the coffin at the funeral. We agreed, because we thought that he loved and respected him, because Draška was really appreciated by everyone. He had no idea he was faking it. He even put a crown on his chest. He went so far as to offer me help with the children, he offered to take them to training. Horror!
Is lying to the children
As she says, she asked the brothers, who supposedly found Draško dead, if they noticed anything strange and if they had any knowledge about everything. – He told me that a man was coming when they supposedly took a break, and I asked him who that man was, what he was like. I can’t believe there are so many executioners and hypocrites – says his wife and adds that he will ask for the maximum penalties. – I want the greatest punishments for monsters! I will fight to the end to make it so. The children ask for the father. I had to lie to them that my father fell and hit his head, and not that he was brutally killed – says the woman crying and continues: – Draško was a wonderful husband and father. He adored children. He took them to school every morning. We were a happy family.

Neighbors of the alleged brothers say they could have expected Nikola and Marko to end up in prison. – Nikola lives in his aunt’s apartment in the city center. Marko lived with his family in the house. He got divorced a few years ago. The woman fled from him abroad. It was also rumored that he had a drug problem, taxi drivers often came there, gave him something and left – says the neighbor.

At the hearing, Marko M. allegedly accused his brother of a crime, saying that Draško and Nikola were having an argument. – He said that Nikola grabbed the ax and hit Draško, who managed to kidnap him. Then Nikola took the macola and gave him a fatal blow – says the source and continues: – The brothers made up a story and pretended to apologize, and even made up that they saw a man who supposedly came to meet the boss. When they were told that there were traces of them on the tool, they defended that it was logical, because they were working with that tool.
