On October 6, Metropolitan Amfilohije was admitted to the hospital for treatment in the pulmonology department of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, after the test showed that he was positive for the corona virus.

Yesterday it was announced that Amfilohije is receiving the drug remdesivir, which is still inaccessible to other crown patients in Montenegro, and according to various sources in the Serbian Orthodox Church, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić allegedly sent the Metropolitan a special type of respirator that does not exist in Montenegro. regular state health system of Serbia.
